Jude Gold: Guitar
Jude interviews the top guitarists in the world as Associate Editor of Guitar Player Magazine. In recent interviews, Jude has picked the brains of guitar heros like Joe Satriani, Steve Morse, Kevin Eubanks, AC/DC guitarists Angus and Malcolm Young, Ozzy Osbourne’s Zakk Wylde, and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry.
In addition to performing with George Clinton and the P-funk All-Stars, David Grisman, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, Eddie Money, Merl Saunders, String Cheese Incident, and raunch rappers 2 Live Crew, Jude toured and recorded with JGB (formerly known as the Jerry Garcia Band) for three years after Jerry passed-on to the other side. Gold has also toured extensively with BX3, a band featuring electric bass guitar legends Stu Hamm, Jeff Berlin, and Billy Sheehan. Recently, Jude performed a piece he co-composed with the Oakland Symphony.
